Volunteers
The incredible support of our volunteers is what keeps the heart of Paradise Kids alive. We have around 90 volunteers giving up their spare time each year, enabling us to provide a professional and caring service.
If you would like to become a vital part of a well respected and highly regarded organisation then we would love to hear from you. We are currently seeking volunteers to help in the Cafe, assist with fundraising activities for Paradise Kids and work with the palliative care nurses in the Hopewell Hospice.
Be A Buddy at Paradise Kids. The ‘Buddy’s’ role is to support children to explore, understand, and express safely their feelings about their loss. Our program uses a mixture of story, art, music, meditation, discussion, movement, guided imagery, and breathing. All you need to do is to complete the “Grief Counselling Course with a Focus on Children and Grief” each 1st and 3rd term in the school year.
